New DVD Launch - Enterprise is not just something that is done through projects or money-making activities - enterprising approaches should be part of everyday classroom practice. That is the key message behind a brand new DVD produced by Determined to Succeed to demonstrate how enterprising approaches are at the heart of the Curriculum for Excellence .

Launched at the Enterprise Centre to an audience of more than 50 teachers, the DVD shares best practice enterprising teaching at work in Inverclyde classrooms today. Featured in front of the camera were classes from Wemyss Bay Primary and Greenock High School .

"The DVD helps highlight what are obvious benefits of an enterprising approach," said Iain Mills, Quality Improvement Officer, Inverclyde Council Education Services. "More engaged pupils, more positive attitudes and a greater sense of progress and achievement are all parts of the jigsaw that can lead to pupils across Inverclyde becoming more motivated and determined to succeed."
